We’ve set high standards for our kitchen, seeking out ingredients, brands and recipes that have a positive impact on our children’s relationship to food, and their well-being.
Thoughtfully Sourced, Expertly Prepared
Our menu reflects years of thoughtful consideration, brainstorming, feedback, and lots of trial and error. We give our little ones the best food available by creating recipes using real, fresh, ingredients, much of which is sourced locally and some certified organic. When choosing packaged snack foods we buy brands that avoid GMOs, artificial dyes, and high fructose corn syrup. We want our parents to know that there is a great deal of effort that goes into the meals we provide, and to be confident in what ends up on their children’s plate at daycare.
We provide three meals a day; a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack.

From-Scratch Baby Food
Premade baby food has been heated and treated to such an extent that the natural flavor, texture, color, and nutrients have been so far removed that what is left bears little resemblance to the food it once was. At Balanced Family Academy, our seasonal, homemade baby food sets the stage for a lifetime of healthy and adventurous eating.
